Hello everyone! Today’s item of the day is a Chantel wedge, nude color, and the absolute perfect thing for fall. Why, do you ask?

Well if you can’t tell of its perfection from merely looking at it, it has a lot of great features.

First of all, The height is very very rare. It seems like when i walk into shoe stores now or shop online, I’m talking myself out of buying a great shoe simply because of the 5 inch heel! These wedges are a great height because it is flattering to summery skirts that you want to transfer from summer to fall, and it also works for colder days with jeans or leggings. It is closed toe, so you won’t be cold when the weather starts changing even more these months.

The next wonderful feature of this shoe is the color. Nude is a very important color to have in your closet, whether it be in blouses or boots or accessories. When it comes to heels, it’s like have a blank canvas. If you have a lot of colors going on, or a lot of flashy accessories, a nude shoe is something that keeps your outfit dressy, but not to the point where it’s overwhelming. Nude is a natural color, something that a lot of things go with. So a transition from summer to fall is a perfect time for nude, since you are dragging out your bright summery pieces and bringing in your fall colors, like browns, burgundies, and blacks.

The last wonderful feature of this shoe is that it is a wedge! Wedges are the one exception i make (personally) when it comes to heels in the hotter months. A lot of heels feel way too dressy or hot for hot weather, so when i have a stable, cute, simple wedge, i can feel like I’m not overdoing it. But even in the colder season, when i have mostly high boots and booties and very steep heels, it’s refreshing to have a wedge for a day that you don’t want to be exhausted with the full effect of a high heel, but still want to be dressy and have a good outfit.

And that’s it for our item of the day!

XOXO
