I always try to keep my hair moisturized and conditioned since it is naturally kind of Frizzy and dry. I also dyed it black recently, and flat black hair looks very bad. I try to keep it as shiny as possible!
This conditioning treatment works with every hair color and type.
Take a mixing bowl and take 1 tbsp of honey and put it in the bowl. Take an oil treatment (I use Moroccan oil because it is amazing?) And put a small amount of it with the honey. Now set it on the side of your shower and shower as normal, washing your hair and everything.
Before you turn the water off, put 4 cups of warm water into the mixing bowl.
Turn your shower off and mix the honey and oil with the water, and pour over your head into the hair.
Dry your hair as normal, don’t wash out the mixture. The next day you will be frizz free, with shiny curly hair.
While I am in college and not going to prom anymore, I still have seen the ads for it everywhere. It is an exciting time, and sometimes you just want to stand out. A big trend for prom dresses (and actually any dresses) is this ombre with crystals. The crystals bead at the top and become less frequent toward the end hem. I think it is gorgeous.
What are your thoughts on this elegant trend?
This is so chic and effortless, it makes me beg for the winter weather to melt away! The browns and quirky rings are earthy, and the bag and glasses put you together! This is so exciting, I wish I could wear it right now!
I am a huge nail fanatic, so I thought it was time to see what all the fuss with Zoya was about! I thought I would be able to find this popular polish close by at CVS or Target, but it proved harder to find. It turns out this designer nail polish can only be distributed to salons or independent shops. The only other way is to order straight from the website.
I looked at the winter collection that they had and decided on “Storm”. (I wanted a few others, but each bottle is $8, and you need to pay for shipping)
I waited long past a week before checking where my polish was. “Storm” just happened to be a best seller, and was sold out. Luckily, a new shipment came in, and less than a week later I got it!
Let me say that if it was more accessible and less expensive per bottle with shipping, I would probably buy it all. This nail polish is literally jewels for your nails, which I think is the slogan…
It was smooth, the color was rich, and in the light, the sparkles are stunning.
If you have the money to spend, I would say, this may be the best of the best. If I save up more money for polish, I will buy again. (It helps that they gave me a packet with every color they sell, including beautiful new spring pastels)
Besides the price and exclusiveness, this was an amazing buy. I highly recommend it.
As you guys know, I love bows. They are so girly, but can be chic and sophisticated. They are becoming pretty popular right now, and I’m guessing in the spring, bow tied accessories (scarves, necklaces, etc) will be huge. My little brother is going to the semi, and I even picked out a gold one for his suit. (So adorable). So heres a good head start on all those bows!
This bow-tie cuff bracelet is beautiful, and only $10.00. You can get it at Etsy.com here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/91169105/bow-tie-cuff-bracelet-faux-leather-black?utm_campaign=Share&utm_medium=PageTools&utm_source=Pinterest
It is faux-leather. But it looks excellent in quality! If you send the shop your measurements before buying, she will custom measure them for you!
I really hope you guys enjoy this adorable bracelet, I thought it was a great twist on the trend.
So. I got my hair done. And it is black! My skin is quite pale, so I was worried about that. But it actually brought out the color of my eyes! I have a couple pictures showing how bright my eyes looked.
I got long layers as well as some angled ones toward the front (very retro) and parted it to the middle. My purple hair is gone, but I love this too. I showed a couple pictures with my layers to show length. And of course, my inspiration was katy perry, that was the picture I showed my stylist.
I hope you enjoy, and if you have feedback about dark hair or Katy, please share!
This year, I am trying to eat a little bit healthier without going without the food I love. I found a bunch of great substitutes for fattening breakfast meals, but when it came to lunches, I was lost! But then it hit me, there are ways to make our favorite dishes healthy! I will continue to post some if I see some more that are delicious and good for you!
This one is just a chicken fajita quesadillas. But we love those! So to make it healthy, grill your chicken, and when cooking it, use very light oils. I put lettuce and tomato in it, and went light on the sour cream. Have it for lunch or dinner! It is healthy and tasty. Enjoy!
I thought this was a great video about a fashion photographer and some editing and photography techniques for fashion and styling. Enjoy!
I thought I should post something a little cute, since there is a snowstorm coming to my area and I’m just feeling cozy 🙂
Here is a picture of some puppies in the snow for you all. Have a fun winter season everyone, and stay safe with all this crazy weather!
