Here we go with another Ipsy Monthly blog post!

I am in love with the colors for this month, let me just say that first.

I haven’t actually used any of these yet, but every single one makes me so excited. I’m hoping the honey mask will last me the month if I use thin layers. Also, how adorable is the pink brush?!

Clean Your Makeup Brushes!

Yes, it’s simple, it works, and it isn’t time consuming. Read on!

Get a cup of water, make sure it is very hot. Add a tablespoon of white vinegar. But the makeup brush into the glass and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. When you remove the brush from the water, run it under hot water again from the sink. After, turn the water gradually cold, and then lightly dry it with a towel by patting it down. This makes it so the makeup gets off, and any germs are disinfected. The reason you gradually rinse it into cold water is because if it goes from soaking in hot water and goes straight to cold, the brush hairs might not regain its softness. The gradual change to cold will let the brush stay soft and get back to room temperature.

Try it, and as always, give feedback!
